Making pea soup at home can take a day or a day and a half, as you need to soak the peas the night before and then leave at least a couple of hours for cooking.
This is the same method used to make Mamma pea soup.
The only difference is that Mamma soup is already ready and you only need 2 minutes to heat the soup
